Some guys just feel destined for more – you?

It’s hard to explain to those that don’t get it.

I know a load of blokes that are ‘happy with normal’.

No big ambitions.

No desires to see the world.

Happy plodding along to the tune of mediocrity.

At first I couldn’t get my head around this. I mean we get one fucking life. Surely we’re here to live it to the max and design it on our own terms.

In fact I used to get really frustrated with people that didn’t see the world like I did. I felt that  passionate about being right and just wanted to pick these guys up and literally ‘shake’ some life into them.

But as I’ve got older.

I’ve chilled out a little bit, and come to realise that not everyone is like me.

Not everyone wants to live life on their terms.

However, there are a select few scattered around the glove that ARE very much like me.

They’re fed up with conformity.

They know that they could be serving  a market out there that is in perfect alignment with what they desire and believe in.

They have an itch that won’t go away.

They so desperately want to do something about it BUT the longer they DON’T the harder it gets to DO something about it.

I’m telling you now man – that shit eats you up inside.

It tears you apart.

It ruins relationships with your wife, with your kids, with everyone around you that loves you .

I know because I’ve been there.

19 years in Financial Services!!! I knew NOTHING else. I had my own business that was doing well. On the surface it looked great. Nice 4 bed detached home, couple of nice cars, nice holidays each year…….but still left feeling unfulfilled.

So what motivated me to finally TAKE ACTION and change things?

I was listening to the big guy Tony Robbins in the car one day and he said that there are 2 motivators that people use to take action. To avoid PAIN or to gain PLEASURE.

When the pain gets so bad, it forces you to take massive action. That’s where I got to.

Everything was stacked against me.

Big mortgage, cars on finance, 2 kids, big shopping bills, business debts, credit cards etc.

To then go an train in a completely new industry and start right at the bottom – in an industry where the average wage for a Personal Trainer is £17,000 per year!! – everyone thought I was completely bonkers. They actually thought I had lost it.

Everyone except my wife Alex that is. She had 100% faith in me all the way throughout.

But when you make this kind of decision and you’re genuinely doing something that is in alignment with what you believe to be your true purpose – you find a way of getting through.

To now have a 6 figure PT business is just awesome.

The day I made that decision is the day I stopped working.

When you’re waking up doing something that you love, it genuinely doesn’t feel like work.

I knew I was destined for more and this journey is far from over.

Ask  yourself the same questions.

“do you have that niggling feeling that you should be doing something else with your life – with greater purpose?”

If you’ve just answered ‘YES’ then DO NOT leave the scene without taking some kind of action. Do something about it.

Take action NOW.
